HOW TO MAKE OUR UPCYCLED DENIM KUMI HAIRBAND

Providing options from a day at work to a jaunt on the beach or a lazy Sunday brunch in the park, the Kumi hairband will match any of the outfits you have in your closet. The metal wired inside allow for many different styling effect, while staying tight on your head and won't slip all the time. Upcycled some lt. weight preloved jeans or mess around with your boyfriend old shirt, kids old sheets, old bathing suits etc. It will take you 45 min tops and for better result we recommend getting the DIY kit-0001.

YOU WILL NEED

Old jeans - Our pattern - Scissors - Pen - Coated metal wire - Pliers

GUIDELINES

STEP 1 - Cut the pattern in DIY0001 Kit

STEP 2 - Make shorts and keep the bottom leg

STEP 3 - Turn bottom leg right side in

STEP 4 - Trace twice the pattern in order to get 4 pieces

STEP 5 - Pin, cut and notch fabric

STEP 6 - Sew middle seams together to get one front and one back piece

STEP 7 - Sew front and back together from one notch to the other

STEP 8 - Trim both tips with scissor 2mm from seam

STEP 9 - Turn right side out

STEP 10 - Make a loop with both tips of the metal wire

STEP 11 - Insert the coated metal wire inside the piece

STEP 12 - Carefully fold-in seam allowance before top stitching from one notch to the other.
