HOW TO MAKE OUR UPCYCLED DENIM ELASTICS

Easy to make, the scrunchy is the perfect accessory to make if you just pulled out your grandmother old sewing machine out of the garage and need a first project. You"ll pull it off in no time. Make one for your little sister, niece or precious daughter. It will take you 20 minutes tops and for better result we recommend getting the DIY kit-0002 .

A-  SCRUNCHY

YOU WILL NEED

Old jeans - our pattern:) - elastic ribbon - Popsicle stick - Pen - scissors

GUIDELINES

STEP 1 - Cut the pattern in DIY Kit-0002

STEP 2 - Use some scraps from another project

STEP 3 - Turn fabric right side in

STEP 4 - Trace the pattern once

STEP 5 - Pin, cut and notch fabric

STEP 6 - Sew from one notch to the other. Carefully sew securing stitches at starting and ending point.

STEP 7 - Insert elastic

STEP 8 - Make a knot

STEP 9 - Carefully fold-in seam allowance before top stitching from one notch to the other.

B- BOW ELASTICS

YOU WILL NEED

Old jeans - our pattern:) - elastics - satin or leather ribbon - pen - scissors- thread & needle

STEP 1 - Download for free our pattern or get the DIY Kit-0002

STEP 2 - Use some scraps from another project

STEP 3 - Turn fabric right side in

STEP 4 - Trace the pattern once

STEP 5 - Pin, cut and notch fabric

STEP 6 - Fold-in edges and iron press. Use notches as a guide

STEP 7 - Overlap edges and topstitch

STEP 8 - Twist around the leather tape and insert-in the elastic

STEP 9 - Hand stitch the leather tape
